The demigod adaptation of one of my stories
I quickly jumped up as the bell rang and sprinted through the halls. “Blake! Blake!” a girls voice scream. I turned to see Madison pushing through the crowd.
“What?” I asked as she stopped in front of me.
“We have to go to camp. NOW!” she yelped. Well, that’s I wanted to go anyways so… “Kelli is a,” she waved her hand in the air franticly, hitting a few people in the process, “flaming metal donkey vampire thing! She’s going to kill yo-” I clapped my hand over her mouth.
“Are you insane?!” I hissed. I grabbed her hand and pulled her threw the hallways and stopped when we were outside. “Why don’t you just tell the world about half-bloods!?”
“That’s why she’s been so nice to you this year! She’s going to drink your blood!” Well… that put a damper on things. So much for having a normal summer. “We have to go before she gets here!” and right on cue Kelli appeared.
“Finally!” she laughed wickedly, “I’ve waited years for this, Blake!” She stalked forward.
“Isn’t that a tad bit obsessive?” Madison asked, trying to stall.
“What?! How dare you?! Do you know who I am?!” She shook her head, her flaming hair lashing around, “Don’t try to distract me!” she was about to lunge forward when a black figure tackled her. It quickly ripped off one arm savagely. It looked at me. I finally realized it was a dog. It was completely black with icy blue eyes (yes, I do mean blue). Another dog charged out and began ripping Kelli apart as she screamed and thrashed around. But, the new dog had red eyes and was bigger that the other.
“Hellhounds,” Madison whispered, “We should go,” she pulled me away from the bloody fight. We walked to a nearby bus stop and sat. “You ok?” Madison finally asked.
“Ok, but I still can’t believe Kelli was a monster,” (srry I have no idea what the actual monster is called) I frowned.
Madison laughed, “It’s ok, I mean, how many cheerleader have you met that were vampires? Anyways, you need to get anything from your house. say bye to your dad?"
“No, everything is at camp,” I paused, “and my step-mom hates the fact that I’m ALIVE.”
She shifted uncomfortably. Madison was a demigod, like me, but her dad sent her to an orphanage. So, she lived with me. Not, adopted, just living with us. My step-mom hated my guts but absolutely adored Maddy. “Pet rock?” she asked suddenly.
I pulled a rock out of my pocket and set in on the bench. It began to vibrate –which was it’s way of moving- and moving in circles. Maddy giggled “I wish my mom was Gaia!” she picked up the rock and cradled in her hands. I stared at Madison. Her honey blonde hair waved in the wind. Her stormy gray eyes met mine (her mom is Athena) . “Can I go to the mall first,” she gave Rocky back to me –yes, I named my pet rock Rocky. I was three, if I had a dog it’s name would have been Doggy-
I shrugged, “Sure,”
~*~ and hour later
I watched Maddy eat. She ate sooo slowly, it was like she was trying to avoid camp. She glanced over her shoulder. She did a double take. “What?” I asked.
“Is that (VOTE!!! Should her name be Victoria or Jane?)
Okkkkk! So this story is basically about when ever u read a book, (oh! Btw! My book is about angels and demons and a normal guy falls in love with a girl who he finds out she’s a demon and her enemy is an angel, so the angel seems like the villain, very original I hope) the character is always the good guy because in their mind, they are the good guy. Soo monsters might think they’re the heroes. So… Victoria (Tori) or Jane
