I love her, but I’m scared of her. And that’s how I felt. Those glowing green eyes, how she seemed possessed, the way she sprouted things about me turning evil but Hermes, my father, doesn’t even listen to my prayers. And there I was, desperately keeping my mom out of the cabinet I locked myself in. Then I heard a loud ‘bang’. I immediately opened the door and I saw my mom, crumpled to the ground, unconscious. I checked if she’s still alive. Fortunately, she was. I got a pillow and let her head rest on it. Then I realized something: I had my chance. I hurried to my room and got my pack. I came back to where my mother was lying. She’s still unconscious. I leaned forward and whispered to her ear, “I’m sorry mom. I love you.”
And then I ran outside.

After one hour of travel, I have no idea where I was. Luckily, I know where I should go. My mom-no, she said something about a summer camp. Camp Half-blood.
